What is a Chicago Style Hot Dog?
It is a steamed, boiled or grilled, but never broiled, all-beef hot dog on steamed bun.
The hot dog is topped with mustard, onion, relish, pickle, tomato slices or wedges, pickled sport peppers, and a dash of celery salt. One could say that it has been dragged through the garden because of the unique combination of condiments. One condiment that is never used on a Chicago Style Hot Dog is ketchup. If you choose to use ketchup, it can’t be called a Chicago Style Hot Dog. Our Vienna Hot Dogs are the very best.
